Help a newbie!

Hello, I have never built a PC before and was thinking of using PC specialist so I could pick the parts and let them build!

I've always been a console gamer, mainly playing racing games. I have a wheel/pedals etc and I want to do better sim racing online and I know there are loads more titles on the PC.

I was wondering if anyone could advise me on what sort of spec I would need for a sim racing PC?

I would use the PC as a normal computer as well for Google Sheets etc but I'm not sure if this will make a difference to the spec I use.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks
Danny

First thing we need to know is your budget, we can spec you something very different if you set your higher threshold at £1500 versus £3000 for example.
General tasks like google sheets aren’t hugely demanding so the sim racing will be the most demanding task to spec for.
What monitor do you have? Make and model or resolution and refresh rate is handy to know, so that we can spec an appropriate graphics card towards the build.
