That is quite possibly Okunoshima, Japan’s famed ‘Rabbit Island’. The island used to be home to a poison gas development facility during the Second World War. They tested said gases on rabbits and the long standing legend was that all these rabbits have descended from ones that escaped when the facility was destroyed. I believe that has now been debunked and they’re actually from when the island was turned into a park in the post war years and did... what rabbits do best.

Looks like it’d be a fun place to visit if you’re a fan of the furry little beasts. Much more fun* than a trip to Guam, which is Spider Island...
