It's not the motherboard that outputs, it's the GPU. All current GPU's have HDMI 2.1.
Then you'd need a compatible cable.
And the TV would need to have an HDMI 2.1 port as well (and obviously be able to support 120Hz). It's only some modern TV's that have support for 120Hz.

Can I Get 4K 120Hz with HDMI 2.0?
While 4K-120Hz is part of the HDMI 2.1 specification, using the right video settings can allow you to use 4K-120Hz with HDMI 2.0.
"HDMI 2.1 has 48Gbps carry capacity, compared to just 18Gbps for HDMI 2.0. Now, the 18Gbps of HDMI 2.0 assumes video delivery with HDR, 4:4:4 chroma, and 10-bit color coding. At a resolution of 3840 x 2160, that would fill up the entire bandwidth with a maximum framerate of 60Hz, and often 4:4:4 won’t be possible, only 4:2:2. However, if we can force 8-bit color coding (16.7 million colors), no HDR, and 4:2:0 chroma subsampling, then 4K 120Hz actually turns out to “cost” about 16Gbps, which is technically possible on HDMI 2.0."

Yeah, in real terms it’s 2k. I certainly wouldn’t recommend it, but then I wouldn’t recommend hooking a computer up to a TV for gaming unless it was one of the latest 120hz ones which do come with HDMI 2.1

Hey @SpyderTracks. I have the Nova with the RTX 2070. I was planning on buying an LG CX with the 120hz display for when I'm at home.
The plan is to run it on 1440p up to 120hz though as the card wouldn't manage 4K for obvious reasons. Is it safe to assume because it's a 2070, it'd have HDMI 2.0 as opposed to 1.4? I can't find anything on my order with the actual spec of the HDMI or do you it best to go to PCS direct?

Thanks, I can't wait! Just now debating a PC with a big fat Radeon to power it with...Figured you probably already had but would post just in case. Incidentally, a good choice on the television.
