@Syze - Two things:

1) I realise now that your first post probably shows more information about you than you should post on the internet. I would go back and delete the image if I were you as it isn't necessary really.

2) The listed postcode does seems valid for both your number and the number - em - ten times your number! (attempting to not deafeat my first point above!), That would be my first guess for it's location - but again you don't actually have to do anything at all here. Sit tight and wait...!! All will be well.....

So my guy is talking cobblers. Or your guy is breaking the law... and potentially humouring you and taking crotch shots 🙃

That's probably it. Damn it... I thought I'd be plastered all over the DPD depot at least, if not twitter!

I'm always dressed in my dressing gown though, not sure my feet would be particularly attractive.

Yeah, even the person at the DPD support centre was pretty dumbfounded when they saw it on their system, the said item was succesfully delivered the following day

Another call today, first one was 40 minutes on hold and then when I explained my issue I got cut off. Trying not to be cynical. 30 more minutes on hold I got told that GPS isn't entirely accurate, asked if anyone else could have accepted it on my behalf? I've been told to anticipate a phone call tomorrow, but I suspect I will have to be the one to call again. Really don't know what to do, if I call and have to explain the situation again and get a response like the issue hasn't been flagged up before, let alone three times, what do I do?

Wait longer. PCS most likely already queried with a courier, but it may take a week or even longer to investigate and also communicate between both companies.

You can always phone the courier and give them your tracking number and ask for a POD, which they will then provide to you. As it is covid, it is almost certainly going to be a picture.

It would of took the driver quite some time to unload all of this. If someone took it and is helping themselves to it - unfortunately for them, it is literally theft.

Drivers tend to have a good memory for expensive drops, so chances are... they’ll be able to tell exactly where. However... i have had my own fair share of driver issues in the past, as have other people i know.

Chances with this are as follows
1. Driver didn’t have time to deliver and claimed delivery, but then scanned item back into depot.
2. Someone has stolen it.
3. ‘Lost in transit’
4. The systems are showing false information.

Until you take physical ownership of the item, it is the responsibility of PCS.

Apparently it hasn't been delivered despite the courier confirming it as such, it is sitting in a warehouse somewhere and I should get it in the next couple of days.
Great news! To be fair, it's one the most common situations - happened to me too just a month ago (not a PC purchase, though).
