Will Pcspecialist have these cards in by the end of June as the 1080 is released 27th of May and the 1070 on the 10th of June (If I recall correctly)?
Approx. Price is £415 (converted from $599)

I assume so, price is a different matter. Don't think it would be £415 but probably closer to £590

How could it be £590 if the asking price is $599? lel

when setting prices in the UK it is not just converting into sterling. From previous releases the price will usually be higher, I seriously doubt it will be under £500 but I am hope I am wrong.

I hope so too. I also hope PCS will have the cards in on time. I was watching the whole nvidia livestream this morning and just can't wait. The hype is too much for me, I can't handle it any more! :D

The initial dates are "founder release" and have an extra $100 on their price tags for an unknown amount of time. so $700 = 485 then + 20% VAT = £582 and probably rounded up for shipping so you'll be looking at around £600.

Fair enough, just read that too, articles are coming out about it. I'm up for dropping £600 tho, do you think it'll be during June though?

it is usually available as soon as it is release depending on availability

$599 is £415 plus VAT is £498. I reckon you will be able to get a 1080 for between £500 to £550 within a couple of weeks of availability if not at the start, especially if there is wide availability. The Founders Version I reckon will be £599. There will be a lot of versions, so the cost of those will vary quite a lot. PCS will be at the lower end of the price scale.

GTX 1070 SLI anyone?

Though I'm worried it will be a little closer to the 1:1 conversion rate, at least at first.

I think that was the case with the 980 and 780.
GTX 1080 SLI is tempting but it might take a while to find it under the liquid cooling section.

This is the first time in a while that I'm really interested in a new GPU release. Seems to be quite an impressive upgrade. I hope that AMD can provide some big gains as well (GPU & CPU).

Will PCS use the normal board version or the founder's edition cards? Also, is it possible to get board partnered edition cards for example Gigabyte via PCS?

Thanks.

The vast majority of the GPU's they have are reference editions of the cards, at the moment they are normally Palit or Zotac for NVidia cards, and unfortunately they cannot order specific variants or brands or cards for you.
