Graphics card compatibility

I would like some advice on the following specification with a GeForce RTX™ 4070 SUPER 12G GAMING X SLIM. The budget is around £500 (already have the graphics card) and the PC will be used for ML applications and image processing, specifically training and inference on Mask RCNN networks.
Details of the case dimensions to ensure the graphics card will fit would be useful, as well as advice on whether the i5 CPU will prevent the graphics card being fully utilised. Thanks for any help :)

Putting that GPU in that build is like putting the engine of an Aston Martin in a Fiat Punto.

The GPU costs more than the entire build. Is there any reason why? Is it just a budget issue?

The PSU is the absolute minimum for that GPU which means is may have issues if the GPU has transient spikes (drawing a lot more power than normal) as 4000 series GPUs are prone to do...personally, I'd want an 850w in there to be sure there's enough headroom.

As to the case, you'd need to contact PCS to get the GPU clearance information...the configurator lists the overall size of the case (if you click on the picture of it...apologies if already done so, not everyone is aware it lists specs) but not internals. HOWEVER, putting that graphics card inside of a hot box like the 3312B is a sure fire way to cook it. That case is for office machines that just have spreadsheets etc running. The absolute minimum case I'd want would be the corsair 3000D Airflow...but for £9 more the 4000D is the best option as it is bigger and so allows more airflow
