GPU fan spinning at 30C

Hi,
Should my GPU fan be spinning all of the time? It starts when I boot my pc. On Speccy & MSI Afterburner it tells me the GPU temperature is 30 degrees celsius. I have looked at curve editor but I'm still a little lost.

I have attached a screenshot of the MSI Curver Editor.

That curve says 40% fan speed from 0ºc - so that's why it's coming on.

Does your GPU not have a zero-RPM mode?

Post your full specs and we may be able to help further.

Thanks for the reply.
As my GPU is Zotaf branded, I downloaded Firestorm and set it to auto. The fan now only comes on when it reaches whatever temp the auto is set at
It's funny, my other PC that I just replaced had its fan running 100% of the time for years. I thought it was normal :ROFLMAO:

There's lots of software nowadays for the GPU fan profiles, GPU lighting, cooler lighting, cooler fan profiles, motherboard lighting, RAM lighting, RGB strip lighting, case lighting, etc.

It can be a bit bewildering when you can't just use a single piece to run everything.

There are some options, but they can take a fair amount of tinkering to get them running perfectly...but once you do it means you can do away with all the other controller software.

I'm sure this does both RGB and fan profiles too...

I use Fan Control for case and gpu fans, and OpenRGB for RGB. Small, efficient applications.
I really should keep a bookmark/note of all these other control software, as I tend to have forgotten them when I come around to mentioning them again ;)
