Darn Green bar. I guess I will ready the USB for a clean install
There are still bugs but most of them are easily correctable and fairly minor.

The game DRM issues were all addressed by the end of last year I think, as was the half speed NVME issue. Those were both quite major issues.

hmm... been thinking about upgrading to W11.. was on the fence about it due to the various bugs reported but given i mainly use my computer for gaming (with some minor use for programming my RPis and nanos) i just might take the leap and install it.
just dealing with an issue that's making Stellaris unplayable is pushing me to install it as i've already uninstalled/re-installed the game twice now and i really don't want to download another 14Gb in the space of 3 days and piss of my broadband provider!:p

I'm back btw!! :p:D

What are the top three benefits Windows 11 brings over 10, in your collective opinions?

I've not personally noticed any at all. I've read what the benefits should be, but none have impacted me as yet.

I've not braved upgrading the gaming rigs yet though, just the non-gaming laptops :)

For me it's mainly the interface is a lot more fluid, startup is much quicker even on my ancient SATA SSD, for me it's more stable and better driver support, it's just a smoother experience.

General use though apart from the improved navigation, there's no real difference.

Probably another reason why I’m not rushing to upgrade, there doesn’t seem to be a big feature leap from 10 to 11. So if my current build is stable, why change. Maybe next time I’m considering a fresh install I might do it then
