Really depends on personal choice or how far you are from them maybe? I am comfortable with 27", wouldn't want anything smaller.

You can use a DVI-HDMI convertor and a mDP-HDMI convertor, you don't really want a splitter.
Noting that the only noticable difference between a DVI connection and HDMI is that HDMI carries sound as well.

Problen

I'm annoyed at my self because I like the NZXT H440 and the S340. I an going for a red and black case and if I pick the s340 I can have a 250gb SSD instead of a 120gb however it's blue and I don't think that'd work. Not sure what to do. I know the s340 would be better storage wise but not sure because I love the h440.

Either case gives enough cooling and the S340 lets you get a bigger SSD, so i'd choose the S340 to get the better specs, not the better looking case as with the H440

Not 100% sure. To give you an idea my laptop has a 120GB SSD and I have around 50GB free with very little installed on there, only google chrome and a few main programs that aren't that big.

I would definitely go for a 250GB SSD

If I could fit in a GTX 970 would you recommend that over 250gb?

If gaming is a priority think getting the best possible GPU is more important than the hard drive space. 120GB should be fine for a while, plus you you have another 1TB.
