General build advice after purchase

hi, i have a "problem" with the configurator, when i choose the RAM corsair vengeace rgb 8x2 3600Mhz and the MOBO z590-f rog strix, the configurator say the frequency of the ram isnt supported, if i put the 3200Mhz i can go, but the MOBO support up to over 4000Mhz....

i have that issue with all z590.

Dont Intel have limits on RAM frequency?
Personally wouldnt touch an Intel build at the moment either, you may find some help and useful info in these links

No, that's just the PC gods are sending you the sign to choose an AMD CPU instead of an Intel.

Z590 has a max native speed of 3200MHz, PCS don't do overclocking on RAM which you'd need to reach speeds over that.

You can of course spec the minimum and source your own RAM.

But yes, Intel is the wrong platform anyway, it will be significantly slaughtered by anything AMD.

i have alredy an order placed, i can't modify the socket ahahahahahah

ok, if i want place the z590 i must choose the 3200mhz frequency?

You'd have to contact PCS to switch over or cancel the build and redo the order.
The configurators are separate, cant switch between the two as customers.

I would suggest specing an AMD order and saving it as a quote if you do, so you can give them the quote to switch to.

Because AMD and Intel are completely different systems. Best is to call PCS and change to your AMD saved quote (will need to tell them a saved quote number) or simply cancel an order and make new specs with AMD ;)

Best to ask in a context with a link to your specs. While it can be an ok AIO with one CPU, may not be good with another. Some CPUs distributes more, some less heat. Drop us a link of the whole build and we'll have a look. In general, best not to go cheap on AIO coolers.

From what you've posted so far your build is all kind of wrong, I would strongly recommend posting your full specs as above and heeding advice, otherwise you will have issues.

Wrong that it's Intel. AMD is better.
Wrong that only 1 storage. 2 is better. 1 for operating system and another for everything else.
Wrong that 750W PSU. It's ok, but 850W is minimum recommended for future upgrades. 750W would limit upgrade options in future.

however, i put a second storage after the order (nvme 3.0 500gb)
for the psu i can upgrade at 850w (22€ more isnt a problem)
i made an intel config because i do 90% gaming and both socket change in this year, i want the best price quality ratio at the moment.
for the so i have alredy a key.


why without cooler?

Best price quality ration is AMD, not Intel.

AMD 5600X already comes with included stock CPU cooler which is good enough. But, if you want, you can add another CPU cooler. However, the cheapest cooler I would recommend for 5600X is Coolermaster Masterliquid Lite 240 for 58 Euro. I wouldn't recommend getting anything cheaper because the quality and reliability is not as good as it could be with Coolermaster or Corsair.

i have a little modify the config......

z490 -----> z590 tuf wifi
i5 10600kf -----> i5 11600kf
rmx 750 -----> rmx 850

this is the max i can do without cancel the order, for the socket reason, and lose the queue. (thanks pcs cs for the modify, because in my configurator wasnt present the 11th board and 11th cpu)
