Please include a link to your specs as explained here https://www.pcspecialist.ie/forums/...ification-to-the-forum-check-this-spec.73718/

Also, what's your max budget? Do you have a monitor? If yes, what's the size, resolution and refresh rate. If not, what would you think getting and is the budget including a new monitor?
Hi I have updated the specs.
My budget is around 1,500 including vat. But I would be paying excluding vat I believe. I have a monitor already, it is a BenQ GL2450.
Screen Size, 24, Resolution (max.) 1920x1080, Refresh Rate 60Hz. I would much prefer to use the monitor I have if possible.

What games other than Planet Zoo do you play? Simulators and strategy games will cope at 60fps, but any FPS or action title would benefit from a higher refresh rate monitor. And as above, config would be handy.

This should do the job. 8 core 5800x chip to handle your streaming and editing needs. A better cooler that will look after your cooling. And a better PSU to give you headroom for upgrades in the future. With a couple of GPU upgrades this build should last 7-10 years.

I don't play action games at the moment as my laptop can't handle much more. I currently play: Phasmophobia, Pacify, Stardew Valley, Sims 4 and Sims 3, Jurassic World Evolution, Ooblets, zoo tycoon, Spore. Not very intensive, like I said currently Planet zoo is the most challenging to run.

Thank you for this! I was just wondering what your reasons were for changing the motherboard? and the graphics card?

Mobo is personal preference: I always use the ASUS motherboards when I spec builds for people.
GPU wise, I would always advocate Nvidia over AMD GPUs at the moment. AMD are catching up but aren’t quite in the same ballpark IMO. The 580 is about equivalent performance to a 1650 super, so for basically the same price the 1660 super is a better fit.

Also to add to this, NVIDIA have an edge over AMD on GPUs due to the NVENC encoder chip. You can leverage a chip on your card to stream without affecting your graphics load. (This chip is available on 1660 Super and above / 2060 and above. The chip itself does not change between a 1660 Super and a 3090. Same chip just better graphics card for the actual game.

AMD do not have this currently.
