thanks for reading :)

-I'd stick with this rig, but drop the "pro" version of the mobo, unless you specifically need the features,
-swap the drives around so the ssd is drive one.
-If you dont want to overclock, drop the K version of the cpu, and you could drop the triple copper cooler, unless you want really good cpu temps stick with the spire.
-get homeplugs instead of a fancy wifi card,

Other than that there is nothing that really needs changing. stick with that psu if you aint bothered about sli.

edit - just read that you have already ordered enjoy mate, personally i dont think you need to consider sli 680's, one is a beast! At one point I had a single 580 and that was a beast on its own, a 680 last you at least 2 or 3 years in my opinion

This would be nice , would mean i can keep my 2x GTX 580s SLI for a few years to come ( being that they outpace a GTX680 )

im not getting in to it with you again m8 , you cant help your self.
I'm only giving my opinion, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I'm not the least bit interested in "getting into it"with anyone.
All I do is try to help people,I dont profess to be an expert, anyone can feel free to disagree with me & I will respect their views.
There's no call to be offensive because someone disagrees with you.

Agreed everyone is entitled to thier opinion & i dont mind if someone disagrees with me - i get along fine with everyone else (& plenty of them disagree with me) , we just dont get along at all , since day one you have gone out of your way to pick fault with eveything i say , this isnt the first thread that has turned in to an argument where me & you are concerned is it now ? , but it will be the last .

& as for being offensive , i dont see any threats , bad language or anything else to get bent out of shape about.

This was a satement of my intentions to try to avoid another conflict - "im not getting in to it with you again m8"

This is my opinion of you "you cant help your self" meaning you seem to see my name & go out of your way to disagree simply to get a rise from me.

Now this opinion could be wrong , but as you said yourself everyone has a right to thier opinion weather it be right or wrong

If it offends you - well , its a hard life - tough.

(ps i wont be replying to this thread again regurdless what anyone says - im not getting my self banned for falling out with you yet again)

& also because its not fair to the original thread starter.

Personally I would knock down on the RAM from Kingston Hyper X 1866 Hz to the 1600 Hz variety and get 4 GB instead of 8 GB (assuming its for gaming), the reason behind this madness is that most games operating today can only read 2-4 GB of RAM max because of the 32bit framework they use. I would upgrade from i5 to an i7 CPU and get the RAM at a later date. If you have more cash then get a 750W-850W power supply so you can get a better graphics card in the future and futureproof the rig.

I disagree with this, 8GB is used for futureproofing and with RAM being at an all time low price wise, its silly not to get 8GB

The i7 has little benefit over the i5 and will only come in handy in 3-4 years time when games require more than 4 cores, even then the i5 will still perform very well and wont exactly be the bottleneck of a system

Also graphics card become more efficient with every series, or at least stay as efficient as the last, therefore there is no need for a further upgrade considering a system with a single 680 won't be anywhere near 600w
