Gaming, Photo Editing, little video editing and programming

I think I shall wait a couple of years before buying a new 40xx card, so how about this as my main system?

Will be buying a 4k monitor for it, playing Hitman 3 and Red Dead 2, quite a bit of photo manipulation, plus the occasional video work and programming.

I need enough space in the case to transfer over 2 x 4tb and 2 x 8tb HDD, plus a 2tb ssd (sata)

Is the motherboard up to scratch?

Hello, I've been playing around with this build for six months or so it seems.

I have been happily using my last PC Specialist machine since 2013 with one processor upgrade (from the i5 to the i7, I chose badly at the start) and one graphics card upgrade. I can see myself using this new system for 9 or 10 years as well, hopefully without the need for upgrades. Maybe a 40xx when the price goes down in 3 years or so...

I have included a 4k monitor with the order.

Games I would like to play on it - Cyberpunk, Hitman 3, Red Dead 2, Guardians of the Galaxy

Work type usage - Photoshop, Premiere, Python programming

Legacy hard drives with all my data which need to fit in - 2 x 4tb HDD, 2 x 8tb HDD, 1 x 2tb SSD

Will I need some extra fans for the hard drives? That's one of my main concerns, finding space for them and keeping them cool.

Moved to a more robust motherboard, swapped secondary m.2 out for a faster gen 4 drive that's actually cheaper, and beefed up the PSU to handle transient power spikes and also support a GPU upgrade down the line.
Dropped the Monitor too as it's only 60hz so isn't ideal for gaming. This 4k 144hz display is reduced to £399 in the Black Friday sales and is a really solid pick for 4K gaming. There are some better options also on sale, but for that price it's a great deal.
