HI All. Looks like a useful place.
Looking for a gaming PC for FPS and RPG, AAA games and want as high performance experience as I can get for the ££'s
Background: a bit of a PC veteran having run my own news/reviews site for a few years, heavily into overclocking/watercooling/phase change etc etc. BUT have been out the game for a while in terms of actual builds and even owning a Windows-based PC - albeit I work in IT. Basically I'm a little rusty with exact specs of stuff but know how to build and maintain PC's in general.
Having been on the 'dark side' on Mac for ages, I decided I wanted a gaming rig that I can also use as a test rig for work (I use a lot of security features in Azure/EUC and not having a decent office Windows machine is getting annoying). I will game on it, probably high end. Ideally I'd like something to last a bit, but I do know how the industry works.
My primary monitor is an Asus PG27AQDM, plus an ultra widescreen for secondary monitor use and a smaller 21" screen for teams/whatsapp etc. Budget isn't really an issue and I will buy it through my own company, but I'd like to keep below £4k as that's a chunk of cash
Spec below, but a couple of questions:

Spec below, but a couple of questions:
- The configurator wouldn't let me specify 2 x 32gb 6000 MHz DDR5 which I would like to make the most of the CPU, so it made me switch from an Asus ROG Stix to the Gigabyte below. The Gigabyte still looks decent tbh and reviews look OK and I've had a few Gigabyte boards go through my labs before, thoughts?
- The case - wanted something low key, does it look suitable?
- Anything you guys see that could do with a tweak?
- Sound - I am thinking of getting some decent gaming cans, will the inbuilt card be OK, or should I think about something else? Experience tells me sound cards can sometimes be more hassles Than they are worth.
- Any decent gaming headset recommendations appreciated - I'll probably be playing FPS mainly, with some RPG etc
