My budget is £2000 and the PC will be used primarily for gaming. I would appreciate any insights that you can offer into the build and any areas where I can save money or areas available for improvement.

Hi there,

My personal opinion is that if you're using it primarily on gaming - it might be best to drop the CPU down to the Ryzen 7 series and spend the extra cash on a better video card. See how much you'll save by dropping to say the Ryzen 7 3700/3800X.

Youve gone for a 1080p monitor, but a 2K budget would easily get a 1440p 144Hz gaming setup.
The 3900X is unwarranted, you are talking more about specific software and professional level when looking at a 3900X/XT/3950X CPU, it would be wasted money (as mentioned above)
Same with the motherboard.

I'd suggest something like along these lines (might need a little fine tuning)

Tiny bit over budget.
I think someone mentioned the 3600XT comes with a RGB cooler (sort of special edition) and it doesnt need a liquid cooler.
Monitor choice is more of a place holder, but thats a £300 marker which can get you a decent 1440p 144Hz screen (the one selected is already 1440p and 144Hz and a reasonably good screen, just not sure its teh best youll get at that price)
Case is very similar to one you put, but less expensive (but still a very good case)

To bring it under budget, drop the 1Tb Firecuda to the 500Gb Samsung M.2 and that takes about £100 off the build, or if you have a copy of Win 10 you can transfer, or Win 7/8.1 that you can still upgrade for free, and then transfer as Win 10 which is also about £100.

Do both and i would upgrade the motherboard to the Asus Tuf X570 just to give more CPU upgrade options in the future.
