Gaming pc for £2000

Hi so I've always wanted a pc to run a large selection of games so I decided to order one, however being pretty silly I didn't ask for advice before ordering so I want to make sure I get the right advice whilst the pc is still in pre-production(I'm 10 days into pre-production I left this pretty late to ask).

Games I want to play:
Ark survival evolved - mods included.
AC Odyssey & AC Valhalla when it is released.
Call of Duty - modern warfare and all future releases.
Rainbow Six Siege.
And just a variety of other games to currently out and to be released.

I'm using a 1440p, 144hz monitor to run these games and would like to be able to run them at this quality with max settings if possible as aesthetics in game are pretty important to me. If anyone has any advice on this build(I customised the pre existing pulsar pro) and what's good/bad then that would be an amazing help. The specs of the pc I ordered are as follows: (£1986.95 which includes and extra £45 for 1 year of insurance).

I would suggest starting again, think you can still cancel when in pre-production. An AMD build will be much better.

Thanks for the responses, in terms of restarting how much of a difference would it make? As you said 10 working days is a long wait especially as stock is reducing and lead times are increasing. as far as what ive ordered what would you suggest I fix/change? You've said the cooler which ill do now. Cancelling is an option for sure but if i do so would it be that substantially different? Ill also remove the 500gb ssd and replace it with an upgraded m.2

Okay so, the H115i rgb platinum wont fit inside of the case. The case can only fit 240mm fans whereas this is a 280mm fan

As far as restarting would you be able to send me a build that is better for roughly the same price range for me to check out.

Getting an AMD build gives you better overall performance at around the same or less cost, plus it gives you an upgrade path which the Intel doesn't, plus gives you better futureproofing with PCIe 4 which intel doesn't, better thermals....

But most importanly, better security. Intel chips are riddled with zero day flaws and each time they find one they have to roll out a patch. A lot of them can't be addressed even with a patch, the only way to truly protect them is to disable hyperthreading which would massively impact perfomance. But each of these patches further reduces performance as well. They're just terrible chips.

How much was that build you ordered and I'll draw up an AMD comparative build so you can see if it's worth switching or not?

Thank you, it was £1987.

Im completely willing to switch and wait longer, I know that you know your stuff its just hard to do so without looking into after waiting over 2 weeks.

I appreciate that, we'll draw up something AMD wise and then you can decide if it's worth the switch or not.

As @Nursemorph says, the Inferno is just a crazy good deal if you were willing to compromise on a few areas, it's a fantastic value PC and would perform admirably at 1440p.

That does look amazing, but is there one that's less compromising. of course I know the price will increase but as I said my budget is £2000 so im happy to go higher than the 1500 by upgrading certain things that are compromised.

That's more like it! As far as the cooler would that one be sufficient or would waiting for the H100i to come in stock be better?

On that build with the 3900x you really want a minimum of the H100i Platinum to keep it in check.

Would it be worth ordering with the H100i and just waiting for it to come into stock? Id rather go for the upgraded cpu considering its within my budget

If you're on the fence, you could always call PCS and ask them if they have an estimate for when replacement stocks are due.

Yeah I just realised that and it doesn't come in until 07/08/2020 and that's way to far away. for the 3900x is there a different cooler I can use?

Not really. Not on PCS.

The 3900x is very overpowered for gaming, you'd be absolutely fine with the 3800x which was in the secondary spec as that requires lesser cooling. That build is all in stock.

Alright, so as far as raw performance goes in games which would be better for me. My original build with the i7-9700k 2070 super or the 3800x with the 2070 super also?
