Any idea or threads on what brand the GTX 780 is?

In my old computer they used the brand PowerColour for my 5770.

Often the brand used by PCS are Palit, but they sometimes use other brands as well depending on stock available.

Hmm I'll need to look into this more before buying but knowing they are Palit GTX 780's isn't really swinging in their favor. I'll need to do some research first.

I've never heard of Palit much when it comes to nVidia graphics cards. Also I don't know which Palit it is, whether it's the bog standard, Jetstream or Super Jetstream.

I'd like to compare price/performance/power/temperature with other brands before deciding is all.

Obviously ordering everything from PCS will make it easier, but if there's a better card for the money/a lil bit extra I'd consider going for it.

Palit are the largest manufacturers of graphics cards. The type of gpu depends on the stock and the jetstream is like £510 and performs as well as the OC evga and cheaper

I'll need to contact PCS themselves and find out which 780's they have in stock before ordering so I can do some comparisons.

Decided to go with the 690 as it offers more fan potential then NZXT's 410.

I was also torn between either of these: Gold Warranty, Soundcard or the Sabretooth Mobo.

Would a Caviar black be needed?

I'm bringing my 500GB VelociRaptor over from my current PC.

Also I will never look at SLI.

If you are happy with your spec go for it. I would go for 1tb or more for games but that depends on how many games you got.

Well my main games will be on the SSD and the VelociRaptor.

Any other games that I don't play a lot will go on the 1TB with pictures etc.
