gaming PC build for world of warcraft

hello

ill be honest, im a console gamer and know nothing about PC's, but have played Warcraft since its release in 2004, this is the only real game i play on the PC and I've always bought pre-built computers and they have always been below par as i know nothing about PC's. I've used the PC build guide to create a build that i hope will last me for a lot of years, i may also buy other games to play if this build is adequate, id be extremely grateful for any advice and appreciate anyone taking the time to view and reply

thanks in advance

You'll definitely get a proper reply and help on here. It will help those who really know their stuff if you can let them know your max budget and if you plan to buy a monitor or already have one?

sorry the monitor is

MonitorASUS VG248QE 24" 3D 144Hz GAMING DISPLAY

im already at my budget its around £1850 for this build and £60 a month, my real aim hopefully is to not have to upgrade for a fair few years, i don't think Warcraft needs the top notch specs to run smoothly but ive put up with terrible lag for years now and would love to not have to have the graphics so low, thank you for the reply :)

No need to apologise. There's a few people on here who will definitely help you. They'll build your system to your wants and monitor and possibly save you money in the process. Or they'll change a few components for a better overall build.

I'll leave it to them. You'll definitely get the help

hi
thanks for the reply, i don't currently have the monitor i was going to get it with the build so it was included in the £1850 budget. are the curved monitors much better than the standard monitors ?, do you think this build will last me years down the line ?. i would definitely prefer to go for 1440p 144Hz system. this will be only for gaming and internet use, no streaming or editing use. would like to try VR on the PC also, really appreciate putting a build together for me, thank you

Above suggestions are spot on. The monitor is expensive but it's absolute top shelf, a fantastic monitor. If you wanted to save money there are Iiyama 1440p 144hz options that are good value.

WRT VR, the 2070 Super gets you in a good ball park. VR is as demanding as you want it to be. High end AAA games use a LOT of power, but the resolution of the headsets is what limits the performance. I have the Valve Index paired with a 2080 (non Super), it does fine..... it could be better but I wasn't going down the 2080Ti route. May see what the 3080 is like next year :D

thank you both i really appreciate the advise, one last question if that's ok, would i still be ok to use the PC case i chose originally as i prefer the look of that one, and would this also use RGB lighting within the case or would i need to change anything , thanks again

The delta isn't a good case, it's very closed off and doesn't promote good temps.

Here is some bling :D

If you want more bling the PCS 240 RGB cooler would be a nice addition. It won't be very quiet, but it will perform very well and have more RGB than you can shake a stick at.
