Gaming pc advice

Hey,
I have a budget of around £950 for a gaming pc I could at a maximum go up to £1000 in total if it really is needed I’d appreciate help with a build for my requirements

I mainly play games like truck simulator, raft, satisfactory. I would like to be able to play it at a decent level, a case with good air flow and RGB

I have a 1080p monitor and I’m fine sticking with that, I’m not really bothered about 4k.

I have no preference between intel or amd I’m happy just to get the best for the cost, thanks!

What make and model monitor have you got?

What kinds of games do you play?

Mainly simulation games. I’d like to be able to play GTA and fortnite with decent graphics but I don’t stream/video edit so just the best I can get for the budget really.

My monitor is the ASUS vg248qe

Things to consider: there's a better Asus Rog Strix B550F Gaming motherboard for £47 extra that might be worth considering but it's out of stock (ETA 3/2/23). Also, if you can stretch the budget, a 3060 GPU would be better, it'll open up a whole new generation of games. But it's something you can upgrade to in future (GPU upgrades are very easy, just follow a YouTube guide). The PSU is good for anything upto a 3090 (I had the same PSU with a 3090 and 3080TI, both overclocked, with no issues).
