Gaming PC £2000 roughly

This is the link which was provided to me from sck451 https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/amd-am5-pc/mA7Z5hXyUf/ but if I change it to the 6000Mhz it goes up nearly £50 or so. I'm most probably doing something wrong here ( Like usual! ), if it's really worth I don't mind too much as I saw Ebuyer had a lower price ( Almost £50! ) on the monitor. BTW is Ebuyer a decent place to get the monitor from?

Sorry if I got something wrong I've been out on a 6 hour walk ( I'm knackered ) looking for mushrooms today.

I used the chat facility, to ask how I do the update.
The very helpful person sorted it all out, then sent me a link. I clicked the link, got a payment page with the right reference number, and paid £10 for 2 x 32GB of 6000, as against 2 x 32 GB of 5600.

I included my build reference number, so it was easy for them to tie me and the build together. There was a bit of chatting back and forth, to ensure he knew what I wanted. All in all, pretty easy.
I have already ordered and paid for my build.

I did a Google search for the monitor I wanted. Ebuyer was one of the links that came up, but they were a more expensive listed price. £550 I think it was. Amazon was about the same. I ended up going with Currys/PCWorld at £450 😮 😃 which was a surprise.
It was delivered Friday afternoon

Didn't intend to do 3 posts. I put the first answer up quickly. Then thought a bit more about what I'd written, and the information you might need, to update your order. And then answered the monitor question separately.

Last bit before ordering, once again sorry in advance for my total lack of understanding in these things.

When I pressed the proceed button a pop up stated that the system would be using less than 600watts, I'm really not sure if I'll be upgrading the GPU as I'm buying a 2560x1440 monitor ( £500 ). Would I get away with the 850watt PSU or is this a really stupid idea? In short I'd rather not have to fork out for another GPU and Monitor in the next couple of years. IF I were to upgrade at a later date the prices of these things may come down?

Edit: Forgot to add I'll be changing ram to 6000Mhz as I can save a bit from monitor.

Hopefully this makes some kind of sense as I have no idea what I'm talking about...

The difference in price between the 5600 RGB RAM and 6000Mhz RAM is £10, but to go from the Non-RGB offering it's £50+.

I don't know if the term "worth it" is what I would use, but I think it's worthwhile taking the hit at this level of build. I would be muttering under my breath but I would still do it.

Just deleted my last post as I understand what's happening now. When I looked at SimonPeters116 spec I missed the RGB bit.....
My fault completely sorry about the confusion.
Thanks for all the help you people have been amazing and patient.

I didn't even consider the RGB. It isn't something I'd normally spec, I only clicked it because "why the hell not"?
I can always turn it off, and turn it on to impress my grandson 😊
But if they're getting RGB RAM in, the none RGB wouldn't be far behind, I would think.
So keep an eye on what's available @gerbster , and if it's the 6000MHZ ram you want, rather than 5600, be ready to jump in and grab it quick.
I'd be a bit annoyed, if I'm putting a computer together and then suddenly see the spec change from 5600 to 6000. Particularly if the 6000 stuff had been there for a couple of days before I started :)

Vengeance 6000MHz none RGB is available now, on pre-order only.
But as our motherboard is also on pre-order, with a bit of luck........ Touch Wood ... :D

I think you're misunderstanding too.

He had initially selected non-RGB 5600 RAM. The RGB 5600 RAM is £49 more than the non-RGB. When you suggested it was only £10 more for 6000Mhz RAM you were going from RGB 5600 to 6000 non-RGB (price difference of a tenner).

Prices...

5600 non-RGB to 5600 RGB is +£49
5600 RGB to 6000 Non-RGB is +£10
6000 non-RGB to 6000 RGB is +£69

You started off in position 1, hence the £10 increase from 5600 RGB to 6000 non-RGB. The OP is starting at position one, hence the £59 increase between the RAM positions.

The 6000 RGB is a crazy price though. In fact, both RGB jumps are nuts.

I find it crazy that putting lights on RAM costs nearly an extra £50! But then again I know about this technology....

Put through my order this morning, once again thanks for all your help!
