Hi, Looking for a beast gaming monitor. Budget around £600 but can stretch if needed. Been looking at the Asus PG279Q ROG Swift 27-inch 165Hz Gaming Monitor and the dell s2716dg. Without actually seeing them in person its hard to make the decision. Has anyone here Had the asus PG279Q. Would you suggest it? Please help

I went through the same choice between the PG279Q and S2716dg a while ago, I went with the Asus one since I do a bit of graphic design and DELL never listed their color gamut (color accuracy), it may not be that important for some, but I like knowing that I'm not sacrificing the picture quality of my games, especially after I went through the trouble of building a higher end PC.

If you're not too particular about the brand, you can also check AOC's U3277PQU which is already a 4k monitor, with decent color accuracy and is around $500(£370ish ) at the moment.

The AOC lacks gsync, however. If going for a 4k monitor and using an nvidia GPU, gsync would be strongly worth considering since even the 1080 ti will struggle with maintaining 60fps at higher settings. The XB271HK would be worth a look, though is a TN Panel.
