Gaming desktop with £2000

I’m looking to build a gaming pc for myself and I don’t know much about the individual components I know the bare bones like intel processors and nvidia graphic cards but that’s about it, don’t know a lot about amd

My monitor is the ASUS TUF gaming VG27WQ1B 27 inch curved monitor (2560x1440) 165hz on Amazon.

The use for this PC is mainly gaming with discord running at the same time.

I have £2000 for the whole computer and don’t have to use all the budget but that is the max I can pay it outright, any help on this build because I have no clue what to use and what’s the cheapest and best.

Thank you both for your replies can i just ask what is the difference between the nvidia 3070 that is preorder only and the asus gaming one that you can get now

The 3070 is arguably the better card, and for some reason it is currently £4 cheaper than the 6700XT! 😮

3070 is top end 1440p, 6700XT is mid/upper range 1440p. 3070 will also have better ray tracing capability and encoding should you wish to stream your gameplay.

EDIT - note to self: make a point of reading the question before you provide an answer.

whats the thing with the 3070ti that says it is in stock is it worth getting that to get the pc to be built quicker and im guessing better performance

OMG, yes, with current pricing the 3070ti is literally only a few quid more than 3070, definitely worthwhile upgrading it
