The SSD i've added is only 80gb is it worth it? and why does it matter putting it as first hard drive? would i install my games here? and everything else of the other harddrive? how's it work

putting it as first drive will mean PCS will put your OS on it, and because its the thing you will load the most often, surely youll want to improve it as its usually a common, quite slow task, then your main programs, ie browser, MS Office etc and maybe one or two of your fave games

so i install office my games and adobe cs suite on ssd drive and pictures and other programmes go on the other harddrive

install OS, which will already be installed, i think its about 20GB on its own, then install your main programs, so browser, office etc then everything else on the other drive, the SSD will have some free space where you can either have games or CS suite, but i imagine the CS suite being pretty huge

How come? And what's sandy bridges lol

Is it worth getting the 3G setup? Would the old republic be good on it

Sandy Bridge is the codename for the 2nd gen CPU ie 'i7 2600'. Sandy Bridge is better than the current Bloomfield CPUs which is the link you provided which sported the i7 960 CPU codenamed Bloomfield. The i5 2500 stands in par with the i7 960 which shows how powerful the Sandy bridge chip is. That is why its better.

No, the 3 grand setup is just expensive due to the six core CPUs listed in that configurator which are indeed powerful but you do not really need a six core cpu to run games as games dont fully utilise all six cores or yet 4 so the quad i5 or i7 sandy is a better choice and is also cheaper.

The sandy bridge build should have no problems running the old republic, so long as it sports a good graphics card then youre in good hands which is what you have in the spec you posted, the gtx580, better than the gtx570 in the pre-designed build link you provided.

The spec you posted compared to the pre-designed spec, you have a better cpu gen cpu, a better all rounder future proofing motherboard, more ram (does not mean you should go for more than 8gb ram or higher speed ram) and lastly a better gpu. everything else is the same.

dont bother with the £19 sound card, its really not worth it, if you wanted a sound card, youd best get at least the £59 one but i wouldnt bother, just use it to help save a bit of cash

also the samsung isnt better but cheaper, although i think atm they are the same price, it is often a nice small upgrade to the kingston ones if you want to with the extra £15

yeh might as well considering kingston are the leading brand for RAM, but dont let that put you off other brands, most are just as good, the kingston ones also have their own heatsinks to keep them cooler, plus they are at a higher clock speed which allows for quicker data transfer, although the transfer time is so quick you wont notice either way, i think i remember 1333mhz ram being on average around 5GB/s
