Hey all,

Just wanted to get a check on this build. The only thing I'm really concerned about is whether the GPU with receive sufficient cooling, or if it will be too close to the glass. I've seen conflicting reports online.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

I've already bought this machine, but it's in pre-order for the GPU, soI'm happy to change some stuff if the GPU temps could be impacted too much by the case.

I'd switch to the ASUS TUF 670 Motherboard, increase the PSU to 1000w, remove the additional paste (Corsair has good paste already pre-applied) and reconsider the storage options.

Personally I'd go with a 500GB 980 pro for the primary drive and a 2TB Seagate Firecuda for the secondary.

Unsure if you'll need the additional PCI card, seems OTT given how much is already on-board with the 670 boards.

I would double check your RAM requirements. If you could get away with 32GB then I think the faster RAM option would offer a decent benefit for your uses. Unsure if your development involves heavy rendering?
