Just a question. There is a problem with the lack of USB connections on this motherboard so one or more front USB's will be disabled. What motherboard is offered from PC Specialist to allow all the USBs to be available?

I would get some advice on the build as a whole as Intel are most definitely best avoided at the moment, even before all the issues they were having they weren't a good choice.

If you share your link we can have a look at the motherboard options. I'm not sure what the limitation is off the top of my head with Intel unfortunately.

Thanks for your feedback. To be honest, I wasn't sure about Intel as I have been hearing lots of negative things about them - products and company. My monitor will have to be changed as it is a 60mhz and I intend to buy one that would meet the demands of the system. My budget is about £4K max but If anyone can suggest a 'cheaper' option for some components that would still do a good job, I would welcome any suggestions. The system is for gaming and online work activities, that's about it. Obviously, I don't want to waste money but am anxious to ensure the spec of the machine meets my requirements.

Below would be a sensible build. To get it to the most powerful you would want to swap out the 4080 Super for the 4090. I wouldn't recommend this as it's £700 more for just a bit more performance. There will be new 50 series cards out soon, where the 5080 will be a sure thing to be far more powerful than the 4090, so it makes more sense to placehold the £700 saving for the next gen 5080 card for a direct replacement. That's certainly what I would do.

With regards to the monitor. I would look at a Super UW format personally. If you want the best then the G9 Neo would be the one to get I think. Outside of that I would look at 4k OLED ultrawide monitors.
