3200mhz ram Is a must.
Better PSU from the RMx series also a must.

What's the budget & monitor you will game on.
Could switch to an AMD system to save some money & get a 2080 instead.

I will connect it to a tv via the hdmi port and most likely get a monitor in the future.

What resolution is your TV (1080p or 4k?) and what resolution do you intend to play games at?

When do you intend to buy a new monitor, and what will your budget be?

This matters because there's no point buying a GPU overpowered for 1080p gaming that will have been made obsolete by newer, faster, and cheaper releases by the time you actually use what it has to offer.

For gaming, neither the 3900x or the 3800x! :) 3600 or maybe the 3700x.

Your spec is a little all over the place for what you are going to use it for.

You are buying a graphics card that is excellent for 1440p high refresh rate gaming. You only have a 1080p 60hz monitor (the TV). You are going to buy a 4k monitor in 9 months. You will buy a cheap 4k monitor.

The 2070 Super is not ideally suited to 4k gaming. It's just not quite powerful enough if you want to play demanding modern games at very high settings with stable framerates. And if you're not playing 4k very high settings, to have the game look good, why even buy a 4k monitor when you could just play at a lower resolution.

Also, by the time you buy your 4k monitor, new graphics cards will have been released, offering more performance for a lower price. So your 2070 Super will have been a waste of money.

And lastly if you buy a 4k monitor that is as cheap as possible, why did you buy a 4k monitor? You want the gameplay to look great and be as fluid as possible, neither of which you're really getting on a £200 4k screen for various reasons.

I think there are 3 good options for you here:

1) buy nothing until September

2) buy a powerful PC and a 1440p 144hz gaming monitor now - you can easily buy that for £1600.

3) buy a PC for 1080p gaming, that you can upgrade to 4k in 9-12 months when you buy a 4k monitor. And get a decent 4k monitor when you do buy it.

Leaving you around £400 for a monitor that is 1440p, 144hz, and has adaptive sync like Freesync.

This is the sweet spot for gaming to be honest, since 4k is extremely demanding, making it very expensive and also run with lower framerates. While 1440p is a great upgrade over 1080p, is much easier to achieve good framerates at, and is just plain more affordable for today's GPUs, future GPU upgrades, and the monitors.

Have a look at some 1440p 144hz options here. Loads for £400, and less:

First off thank you very much for your help its much appreciated:). I think im going to go for option 2 because 4k gaming seems to be out of my price range atm, il prob go for 4k with my next upgrade in a few years. cheers :)
