First PC Gaming Build help.

I was looking at Amazon Bundle Build as they have everything for first build then upgrade over time. Someone said to stay away from them.
Then someone said to come to this site & see what you can build. The issue is I have 0 clue what I'm doing. I did this one.

I think I can go around £500. I also need screen.

I already have M/KB.

It will be my first Gaming PC. 60fps/1080p I don't need nothing crazy. I can upgrade over time.

As its going to be more for games like GTA (FiveM/Mods) few indie games that are not on PS5 or Xbox SS.

The bigger games that go to PS5 or Gamepass if PC can't run them prob just buy them on consoles.

Thank you for help & time.

£500? You aren't going to get a meaningful custom PC for that budget. Even if I took you back to an older generation and removed any possibility of upgradeability an compromised on a lot of things, you'd still be looking at around £900

If I were to buy a PC or even a laptop, what would you recommend as the minimum price for a starting build that I could upgrade over time?

If you were to build a PC for 1080p/60fps gaming for time been just to enter PC Gaming.

Thank you for feedback above

I would never recommend the H60 on any system, it's woefully underpowered, an air cooler would actually be a better option. The H80 is IMHO a better option at the lowest end watercooler side.

Do also be aware that 8Gb VRAM on the GPU nowadays will not be sufficient for a lot of newer games coming out and some already out. 12Gb would be the minimum to comfortably play any game.

PC prices can get pretty brutal pretty quickly as the last few posts here are probably showing. Consoles are great for their relative affordability, even the upcoming PS5 Pro is looking pretty decent despite the backlash over the price.

It might be handy if @FigmentOfYourImagination or @Martinr36 could put together a sample spec just to show what we're talking about when it comes to the baseline. I'd do it myself, but I'm more knowledgeable about games than hardware.
