This is my first time building a pc. I will be using this pc for gaming and programming. I've set my budget to be £2,000. Unsure if there are any better ways to set it up.
I will be on a triple monitor set up: 2 x DELL P2419H, 1x DELL P2719H. All three are 60Hz refresh rate

I've done some research, and if I were to get some better monitors, I think I would get the AOC Gaming G2490VXA (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08KP4XPRS/ref=emc_b_5_t?th=1) and G2790VXA (https://www.amazon.co.uk/AOC-G2790V...1031&rnid=65675330031&s=computers&sr=1-6&th=1). But that would mean I would only want to spend about £1500 to £1550 on the pc. I am unsure if I should spend more on the pc, and leave the monitors, or invest in some better monitors and compromise on the pc

None of those monitors would be considered gaming monitors.

You could get a good 1440p system plus monitor for £2000

The thing is that I don't really have any ideas on what parts I would need, as I have never built a setup before. What kind of setup could I make for £1500? As I did find some seemingly good monitors for about £450, as I mentioned in the end of the post

Neither of those monitors is that great. They're both better than what you have now, but a £2k budget should get you a much better pair of display and PC. I'm on my phone right now so can't make something myself, but you can get a good 1440p gaming display for £300ish, leaving plenty for a strong PC to match.

If you're ordering from PCS it comes fully built, you don't need to do anything

OK, so let's start with the monitor. It seems from your post above that you're anticipating the need to buy three new monitors if you were to replace your current setup. You don't. I'd buy one good gaming display, game on that, and use the other displays that you already have for other purposes, such as browsers, Discord, etc. There isn't much call for multi-screen gaming.

For a display, the Q27G2U is a good one: it's actually what I myself use. But it is a VA panel and therefore prone to dark-level smearing. For a good IPS display, the Asus VG27AQ for around £330 is a good bet.

That leaves us £1670ish for a PC. Here's an option that would take us a tiny bit over budget but be really strong on AMD's Ryzen 7000 platform, which will allow for many years of upgrades. If you could transfer your Windows licence from another PC, if you are replacing an old one, say, that will save quite a bit. You could also go down to the cheaper Ryzen 5000 platform and get good gaming with a lower budget, but with upgrades being much more difficult.

By the way, you don't mention what kind of programming you're looking at. Are we talking web development or big compilations, or something else? It makes a difference to the ideal setup.
