Wondering if this PC build would be good at playing the likes of Garrys Mod, Arma 3, etc

It is a bit above my budget but willing to go that bit extra with the way things are recent.

I have no monitor, so would also be looking at an option for this

Hi there! There's some changes that can be made to this build. Although I doubt we'll be able to reduce it, what budget were you originally planning to hit? And what's your budget for monitors? 230 Euros should get you a nice 1080p 144hz monitor which will be a nice match for a build of this budget

To be honest my original budget was €1000 £856 however giving the latest trend with prices etc I have upped the budget to €1500 £1285. I mean if it can go lower that would be great.

Honestly I don't know about a budget for a monitor however €100-€250

For around the same price as your current spec, this is what I'd recommend

The 5600X is a great gaming CPU and will perform better than the last Gen Ryzen 7 you have in there. If you want Wifi, I'd recommend the motherboard with WiFi as it comes out a little cheaper than the equivalent add in wifi card. AMD loves fast ram so I've changed to 2 sticks of 3200mhz. I've upgraded the size of your SSD to give more space for programs and games. (I'd use the HDD for general files and if you have any larger file games eg GTA, they can go on there) I've upgraded to the 750TXm as it'll allow your PC to run more comfortably and support more upgrades down the road. The stock CPU cooler is adequate for the 5600X and is always something that can be upgraded later.

The easiest way to reduce the price of this build would be to swap to the 1660 Super, it's also a 1080p 144hz card but a lot cheaper so would either decrease your spend or allow you to spend more elsewhere.The 2060 would also give you higher FPS in games and last you longer without needing an upgrade. This video is a comparison between the two so you can decide if it's worth it.

For monitors, two great choices are the AOC 24G2U and the MSI Optix G241, both are £200 or about 230 EUR
