First gaming/general use PC in over 10 years.

Hey guys,

Just getting to the point in my life where I can finally afford something I've dreamt about for years. Don't really know too much about pc-building because I could never afford it so i just made this draft based on some pre-built PCs I saw at my local computer store. I was planning on starting my build off with a new-gen RTX card but after seeing the prices I just can't imagine myself spending that type of money on a GPU. Feedback on the build below will be greatly appreciated.

Don't plan on using this for streaming/office work or anything else not related to gaming.
Will be using this on a 27in 1440p monitor.

Is that the correct link, as it shows as a lot more than €2099.17 including VAT when I click it.

Seems the 'post to forum' link strips the VAT off, but adds 'including VAT'...which of course will then need to be paid in your own country.

However, if you're gaming at 1440p, then the 3080Ti is wasted, you may as well downgrade to the 3070 or 6700XT and save some cash to spend elsewhere on the system...such as:
  • Changing the wifi to the INTEL AX200 (newer/faster), the Asus PCE-AX3000 (even newer/faster), or swapping to a motherboard with wifi built-in (Asus Tuf Gaming Z690-Plus D4 WiFi)
  • Faster RAM, as 2666Mhz is not very good for gaming and last couple of gen CPUs (more an office PC RAM option)
  • Maybe wait a month and take advantage of the 13th Gen Intel CPU (such as the i5-13600K
  • Consider having 2 m.2 drives - a very fast 512Gb for OS/apps, and another slower 1Tb one for game storage (saves you losing your games if you have to do a Windows reinstall)
  • You've not selected any OS, so you'll have to wipe & install from scratch as system that comes with it is for testing only, and is not complete

I believe so, PCS are not VAT registered in Lithuania, so prices are shown ex VAT. You'd have to pay customs on delivery.
