Do you have monitor recommendations to go with this build? I’ll buy the monitor 2-3 months after the pc so I can save some money again and ideally the monitor won’t be more than £350. Not sure if that is realistic though.
A couple of other options at the top end of the budget are these:

This MSI would be a worthy contender, it's full fast IPS. It's pretty much the same price everywhere so have posted Amazon purely because their returns policy is so easy just in case there's a faulty unit:

The other option is the LG 27GP850 which is about on par, but I can't find it for less than around £380

With companies like PC specialist - do they download all drives relevant to your parts for you?
Also I assume they don’t include any bloatware etc even when installing windows

No bloatware no but they don't install the drivers for you

They do if you order windows, the pc comes fully configured, and you'll get software support if you have difficulties.

If you order without windows you're not eligible for software support and you need to know how to configure it.

Dumb question! When pcs adds windows to your pc, do they complete all of the security, digital assistant etc decisions for you?

Nope, you'll go through the setup process yourself so you can decide all those settings yourself

These are out of my price range sadly I’m hoping to get under 300 now as I’m updated my chair too

So right now I’m between this one and the Samsung g5. Is either better than the other and what’s the general consensus around curved v flat.
This https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/gamin...va-gaming-monitor-black-red-10206681-pdt.html is also being considered
The Asus is the one to get. I’ve got the 34 inch version of the AOC you linked but the panel on that one is VA, IPS is generally preferred by most (but not all) people. And the AOC also has slightly annoying and cheap feeling buttons for screen control, the other is a little more premium

As regards curved/straight, it’s all subjective. At 27 inch, you don’t need a curved screen but if you sit quite close to your monitor it can add a little more immersion to your gaming.

It's also helpful for VA panels as their viewing angle is a little worse than IPS. The curve fixes that. The Asus is an IPS panel, though, so the curve isn't necessary in that regard.

Thanks all! I think I’m settled on the ASUS ^_^ I think about the g5 sometimes but like you guys mentioned the asus will be better overall
