In that you don't need a 3080, so i've changed that to the 3060Ti, and upped the CPU to the 5800x and improved the case, cooling and power supply as well

It's a common misconception that a higher tier GPU gives better graphics, it's completely false.

The GPU pairs with the monitor, the monitor dictates what power is required.

Overspeccing the GPU does nothing of value, doesn't improve graphics or anything, all that will happen is you'll pay for a piece of hardware that isn't used to it's full capability as the monitor will bottleneck it.

Yes, for a 1440p screen, 3060ti would be ample.

There is no such thing as futureproofing a GPU, you end up spending far more and getting less performance because the mark up for the higher tier cards is so substantially higher, and by the time you require the extra power, there will be newer cards out which are more powerful and offer new technologies and features.

You always pair the GPU to the monitor and upgrade it when you need to.
