Fan Software, primarily for PWM fans

Not sure which case this is but PWM repeater fitted to 5000D etc won’t show up in iCUE, as Martin says it will show up as one fan in BIOS or other programs as it’s off one fan header, if you want total control of fan speeds will need a Commander Pro
There's an H115i Capellix in the system: that comes with a Commander Core that acts as a fan hub.

This is the key question: how precisely are the fans plugged in? Is it into the Commander Core? Is it into another PWM repeater? If so, how is that repeater plugged into the motherboard? If we can answer these questions, it should be much easier to work out what the problem is.

The 4 fans are in the top left repeater.
The Corsair fans (for the CPU) are in the other

Cool, so that's the PWM repeater in the top left, yes? How is that plugged into the motherboard?

My working theory from what you've posted is that it's plugged into the M.2 fan header, which is not going to work for you. It needs to go into one of the chassis fan headers. (The left hand one of the three headers marked (2) in this diagram.)

Yeah mine came plugged into the m.2 header, I moved it to the chassis header before I bit the bullet and swapped to LL120 and commander core

You're correct. It's in the M.2 fan header.

Definitely try moving it into the CHA_2 header. It should be pretty easy: it's only an inch away, probably less. It's the one designed for case fans, rather than M.2 fans. You should then be able to use AI Suite and Armoury Crate to control the fans.

Already swapped it.

Chassis Fan 2 in Crate is now showing 633rpm

Cool: that's a big improvement. It should now ramp up and down with your CPU temperature. So they should boost much higher when gaming.

Can you notice a difference yet?
