Factory Reset

I factory reset my PC due to controller/joypad not working and was wondering are any files deleted upon doing so e.g I have had to install drivers to my PC to get a joypad to work, was the drivers already downloaded by the team as my first joypad I think it worked out of the box without needing to download drivers. So do I need to install a Ryzen app, Nvidia graphics card app to keep the PC up to speed. I am just asking as I am wondering if my PC has gotten slower loading up games (GTA V mainly) as it seeming pretty slow

You might need to download Nividia Drivers.

Consider doing a clean installation of Windows, letting Windows install all the drivers, except for the GPU drivers which you may want to manually update yourself.

Factory resets often aren't entirely effective

TBH Factory Reset is a con which is why PCS don't use one. A factory reset doesn't really take that much longer than a clean install, although it's a little easier. The REAL purpose of a factory reset is so that you reinstall all the bloatware that the vendor is paid by the software companies to supply to you.

A clean install is by far a better option. [emoji3]
