Do I need to change my chosen monitor on my ordered build?

I'm sort of surprised that the M32U is hard to get hold of. I got mine within two weeks or so and I'm sure I saw a few on sale at Scan only a few days ago. What sort of delay are they forecasting? Are we talking weeks or months?

There seem to be 28" 4K monitors in stock. Would that be suitable?
They did have some in stock a few days ago - and when I ordered - I'm sure it came up and said "expected by 25th Oct" which confused me. I'd gone with Scan because Overclockers only had pre-order available. So I just assumed I had missed the last one. But then the eta disappeared off the Scan website also. I was speaking to them earlier and they literally have no clue when the next lot will be coming in and have said it is a shipping/import delay to the UK at the moment.

I have been told that if I was getting a 4K monitor it would have to be at least 32" and that there aren't many around. That's why I went for the M32U. And I'm not going to buy an extra monitor for what could be just a matter of weeks!

It's probably only a few weeks at most then. Scan and OC have both had two tranches each (at least since I've been watching) since the start of Sep. I've very noticeable that the M32 goes out of stock quick but the FI32U doesn't. It's like people don't want to pay £150 for some flashing lights ...

Personally, I would pay £150 to NOT have flashing lights

Actually it seems the FI32U is 'currently awaiting an ETA' on Scan also:
