I don't know if what you're saying is right all I know is I was never told "Well if you buy it from us you can keep your warranty.", like I said I hadn't even said I'd purchased it yet to them so for all they knew I could've been buying from them. (just read this back and it sounds very passive aggressive - didn't mean it that way but I cant work it any better xD)
I get where you’re coming from, that’s why I’ll try contacting them just so we can get an official line on it from PCS and be 100% sure 🙂👍

It seems it’s now a grey area seeing as the upgrade service doesn’t wave a big red flag regarding warranty at you if you order a new CPU from them. It’ll be good to find out anyway, if it turns out it would invalidate the warranty regardless we need to know that to warn customers in future 👍
But @ojmck22 said he bought the CPU from Amazon. In that case I can well understand PCS not continuing the warranty unless they can fit the CPU and properly test it.

Not thinking of buying elsewhere... I would buy it off PCS as an upgrade, but install myself.
No way in hell im voiding my warranty, ive got another year left (it was extended following my delivery issues)

Or are CPU's one of the things they would say I would have to send it in? I just dont want to lose it for a month.

You are able to order a CPU from ourselves and fit it yourself without affecting your warranty. We would not void your warranty.

The only exception is if you damage the new CPU or any other components during the installation of your CPU then the warranty would not cover that.

My suspicions were correct! Thank you for clarifying, overlord.

He's not an overlord, he's a very naughty boy!
I'm saying nothing, I've already pushed my luck with The Moose once or twice and I don't want to end up like this guy.

I think it's pretty clear there that he's not running FROM the moose, he's running WITH the moose. (The moose has its head up rather than down so it's not attacking. I'm also a bit concerned about the depth of field there too, I suspect the moose is a fair old way off to the ranger's right side - they're big old things those mooses).

They don't call me the moose whisperer for nothing you know......

Ah... So you're not 'Dances With Wolves', you're 'Runs With The Moose'

My otherhalfs nickname is Moose.... even his mother calls him it...

Got any tips for how to get them to clean up after themselves?

Like most mooses our moose is a very very busy boy. He was even too busy to talk to me. I know that's hard to believe.... [emoji41]
I can imagine him with a sandwich in one hoof phone in the other and building a pc with his other hoofs all while using his anklers to pop into the forums !
