Hello All,
Recently I got a Vortex VII and while great I've had a few little issues, the major one was discovered as I was looking to make sure all settings are set correct for gaming ect (like SLI which was turned off) one of which was g-sync.
However I could not find the settings in the Nvidia Control panel, so I called up to which they advised I didn't have one.
Now for my issue.
Right now its displayed as:
Vortex Series: 17.3" 120 Hz 90% NTSC Full HD Matte LED Widescreen (1920x1080)
or
Vortex Series: 17.3" Matte 4K IPS LED Widescreen (3840x2160)(No G-Sync)
Now in the other laptops in the months and years some have come with G-Sync considering the price and the size and other laptops having this technology like the Acer 21" 120 Hz laptop from a year ago+ I thought this would come with so when one screen said is does not come with G-Sync i would then think the other does.
However it didn't so a feature I thought I had..I didn't.
Now if i sell two cars,
Ford, 2 litres, black, 3 years old
Ford 2 litres, red, 3 years old (no mud flaps included)
You would think the first car would have Mud flaps... if both said no mud flaps or neighter say it then the person may need to dig deeper or call and ask.
Now I have a a £3,500 laptop which is very fast but I've been left with a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth, I'm sure others would make the same mistake but I'm sure some will disagree as it was not stated it came with, but if I say purple unicorn you think of a purple unicorn, so if two choices and one says no G-sync then the though of G-Sync feature is in my head....
Regards,
Gavin Brierley
