1) Power is off in 10 minutes to save energy. Would you like to disable Automatic Standby?
2) Power is off in 5 minutes to save energy. Would you like to disable Automatic Standby?
3) Power is off in 2 minutes to save energy. Would you like to disable Automatic Standby?
4) Power is off in 1 minutes to save energy. Would you like to disable Automatic Standby?

Each time had: Black box with Yes, Red Box with No.
You can’t click on Yes/No with mouse, or change with arrow keys.

Then it completely turned off............................

Offers please, standby set to never.

I would do a full scan with malwarebytes.

This is what appeared on the screen, in front of an exiting display and the cursor when moved went behind so could not reply Y or N.

Anyone recognise this & what might have issued this?

That's not coming from Windows but from something else. Possibly the monitor, but also possibly malware.

Screen Problem solved, probably.
It was indeed the new LG 32GK850F screen and a setting found by pushing up the button on the bottom of the screen and selecting settings.
Under ‘General’ are Smart Energy Saving and Automatic Standby now turned to off. thanks.
