Tbh, I’m kind of pleased about this. It’s less than ideal, sure, BUT, I’d much rather they delayed release than rush the final stages and have a buggy release that takes months to patch.
I was literally just about to book a couple days off work now that my pc is coming. Not sure whether to be happy or sad we’ve got to wait another 21 days
Unfortunately a delay does not always mean there will not be a buggy release that will take months / years to fix, it likely means a specific Blocker (code, licence etc) has been found or not resolved.
a couple years back we found that a wrong licence (which is pretty Much using unlicensed) had been used and stopped release 2 days before launch.
I thought that was the 3080 threadOh dear...cue the angry mobs with pitchforks demanding compensation
