Hey I just received my new pc and i instantly got a problem when starting up. It said my cpu fan had a error. So i checked inside the case and saw my cpu cooler was loose and hanging from its core. The question is now, how do i installed it again to my core.

Highlighted in the moderators forum. That seems very strange, looking at the manual it does indeed appear to be missing the correct mounting hardware.

Was there packing inside the case to protect the cooler? There should have been I believe. There certainly was in mine.....

Nursemorph thank you for the response. i am afraid my welcome box has no extra flange bits that help the cooling fan’s attachment.
How would i aquire a loose part like that. I don not wanna buy a new cpu fan cooler. My other option is of course sending it back to pc specialist but this will take a long time.

I will contact pc specialist. Should I e-mail them or will i be in contact with them on the forum via the highlight.

I've escalated it too via the secret moose signal.

We are sorry to hear about how this system has arrived. The 212 Back edition fan is held in with a metal clip and if the case takes too much of a big knock it can knock it loose sadly. The clips are most likely dislodged in the front of the case, if you can see them then you are more than welcome to attempt to put the fan back on or log into your PCS account and request an RMA and we will bring the system back and do it in house.

The manual you have used is the 212x, whereas the cooler is the 212x Black Edition which uses the clips shown below.

@moosEh Fair enough and my apologies....I was going by what the OP said it was and there was no mention of it being a Black Edition in the title. I just checked the configurator and it does state it's the black edition so I shall endeavour to remember to check the configurator first before accusing PCS staff of not doing their job properly
