Woah, out of interest was that something you had played with previously or was it delivered like that? That's quite concerning really.

Nope, not touched it, just to be clear this isn't the cooler connection to the mother board, this is the Cappelix part to the CPU cooler block but either way if it was not connected properly its only by good luck it was the LED that stopped working and not the pump

It was the last connection i checked, i went to remove the allen screw just to check what the connection type was and they were barely tight at the bottom so the socket wasn't making proper connection, tightend everything up and away it went.

Yeah, agreed, I would definitely feed that back to PCS so they're aware, that really needs to be avoided from occurring again.

If they had a mechanism for reporting snags I would do so but not quite sure how they would handle such information.
How they handle it is out of any control, but the important thing is to advise them of it to give them the opportunity to address it in training or advise testers to look out for.

It's not about blaming, more about giving them the heads up so they can do better.

Mistakes will always happen, especially when under pressure, but highlighting them gently gives us all the chance to grow and adapt.
