Cooler Master TD500 Mesh and additional fans’ compatibility

Even thou the spec for the case says it supports up to 3 x top fans and 1 x rear fan, there appears to be an error warning about incompatibility when the number of additional case fans >3 (it says the case only supports up to 3 additional fans).

I am just wondering if it is just an error with the system or if it is intentional.

Don’t forget that if you’re choosing a liquid cooler, those fans count towards the total. If you paste your full spec over we can check for you 👍

I didn’t add any liquid cooling.
It’s just the PCS FrostFlow 100 V2 Series High Performance CPU Cooler (AMD) I’ve chosen.

It does specifically say the case only supports up to additional 3 case fans which contradicts the specification.

Unfortunately the link for posting the specs doesn't work since I’ve made changes with the case and this one is currently out of stock, so I can’t get a working link for this specific config.

Edit : when I tried with liquid cooling, it showed this instead.

I cant wrap my head around it it says 3 fans included so your missing a rear fan and 3 fans top totaling 4 so 4 fans it should be very confused :( I cant imagine the cpu fan clearance would impede the fan above it I havent built a pc in years so would not know of a issue with number of fan connectors ?

Hey there, I don't know if the Frostflow is a 2 fan radiator or a 1 fan. But I can only assume, looking at the case. that It may be a 2 fan.

So if it is, you can only fit the 3 additional Fans you have chosen on the TOP airflow bracket, resulting in the rear 1-fan space being too Small to Fit the frostflow.

Additionally, I think this is a Mid sized case so the case may be physically too small to Fit the Frostflow even if it is 1 single fan radiator As a fan on the top will physically collide with the Fan directly below it.

There could be space if the Piping for the frost-flow is hung from BELOW the radiator (as some Tech enthusiasts suggest) But it may result in the Pipes resting heavily on your GPU/PCI-E cards.

Perhaps remove the additional fans entirely and buy them separately or try changing your tower to see if there are any Alerts.
