Contol center not installing

I have the same issue with the control center. After reinstall W11, goes through all instalation process but it is not showing at the task bar.

Let us confirm what we are talking about. Windows will install the 'Control Panel' It is located in the menu in the list of all apps in the Windows System section. This Control Panel is being superseded by entries in 'Settings'.

What I understand is the 'Control Center' is 06Hotkey included with the drivers supplied by PCS. These will have been installed during the initial installation of Windows but will need to be downloaded and saved for future use. Go to the tech support tab of your account to download your drivers.

My laptop is 10 years old so there may be differences between my control centre and yours. Basically, Fn/Esc will open the control centre on the screen for use. Otherwise, most selections can be operated using the keyboard Fn/(keys 1 - 12).

Control Center is the management driver on clevo chassis such as yours.

This is a different manufacturer chassis, TongFang, but the management driver is also called control center, but it's a completely different bit of software to the Clevo one.

Thank you for correcting me Spydertracks, I think I will stick to Clevo but maybe the bit about downloading the drivers still applies.

Driver installation has changed a lot since windows 7. Nowadays you don't manually install drivers, you let windows update do that, you only manually install them if windows can't find them, but nowadays windows manages most drivers.

The only driver it won't manage is a management driver like control center as that's usually not released to the windows catalogue.

I installed everything by the book. I will try to do it again and I will post here the results.

Update: After reinstall W11 from new, install all the drivers from my download page, the issue was still there. So I contacted technical support with the explanation and they were able to provide me a new link with the Control Center driver. After install the new driver now it's working perfectly.

As already advised it is against forum rules to share any drivers, you’d need to contact PCS directly and they can only deal with people with transferred warranty.

So as we’ve been through many times, if you simply take that approach, you’ll have far more success

As above, please don't request software from other users. Get help directly from PCS for your own bespoke system. If you were to install something from a 3rd party and it caused issues you may then suspect the provider. There are different configurations over the years that require specific versions of the software.

Obtaining outside of PCS has risks, please don't involve other forum users in those risks.
