as expected nothing has changed, still experiencing the same problem as before when I was connected with an ethernet cable

Ok, now we know that the problem is with the Ethernet adapter and nothing else. That is important information.

Please open an elevated PowerShell Session and enter the following commands...

Get-NetAdapterBinding

Get-NetAdapterAdvancedProperty

Please post a screenshot of the output of each command.
