Confusing email

Hey guys,

I was told that a part from my order was out of stock andthey were awaiting it. Anyway this morning I received this email:

We are currently processing your order (number 000) and we aim to dispatch your order as soon as possible. Your order has so far been processing for 5 - 6 working days. Because of the way our production facility works, sometimes orders can take longer to enter the building and testing process, but please be assured that we aim to dispatch your order as soon as possible. Orders are normally shipped within 2 - 3 days after being assembled.

On average, we are currently dispatching PC orders in 12 to 14 working days, laptops orders in 6 to 8 working days and Liquid Series® orders in 4 to 6 working days from the point of ordering. This is an average dispatch time, so naturally this means that some orders will take longer than this.

As soon as we have any further updates on the current status of your order we will contact you by email.

In the meantime, if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by telephone on 0333 011 7000

Does this mean that the part is now in stock or is it just a standard email

thanks guys!

Looks like it has been moved from the build stage back into processing due to the stock shortage and this is an automated email triggered by that stage.

In the meantime, if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact them by telephone on 0333 011 7000

Yeah I think I’ll give them a ring when they open, I was told on the phone a couple of days ago that the part will be back in stock on the 5th of may so I’ll just give them a ring to see what’s going on. Cheers dude!

I have no special information but I rather suspect that's a standard (and possibly even automated) email just to let you know that things are progressing and that you've not been forgotten. I wouldn't read anything special into it.
