Sorry. I didn't make myself clear. I am using 1070 card now. thats how i have it when gaming on 1070 card

Hi guys quick question. I am using a 1070 GPU at the moment When i fire up the pc its beeps few time and on the motherboard now there is a white VGA light on. what does that indicate as i have not noticed before. Both monitors working. I managed to game last night for 6+ hours without issues.

When i power on machine. it does 1 long beep and 2-3 short beeps.

Monitor always turned of 1st. The light won't hurt anything will it if i leave it.

No, turn the monitor on first before turning on the PC, ie, hit the power button. If it's in sleep, the PC won't realise it's there and throws an error.

Hi Guys. Quick update. It looked like it wasn't my GPU after all. Looked like a software issue.
I went to CMD and ran as admin then i typed in sfc /scannow let it scan then it came up with corrupt files windows resource protection. Then once i did that. it fixed the issue. So far so good. i managed to game for 2 hours without issues/ blue screen of death, crashes etc.
Hopefully. that will have sorted it

I was having issue gaming with my 3080.. i could play for 5/10min then all comps crashes then that blue screen appears. So i tried a 1050ti and had no issues at all. then i tried a 1070. no issues at all. I did what i said earlier when it said corrupted files. My 3080 GPU was working fine for 2hours without issues.. Just loaded Destiny 2 up to play and blue screen again with my 3080. looks like i will have to send the GPU back. thats all i can think it is, as i don't have issues with 1050ti or 1070.

Just out of interest, have you applied any changes to the 3080 with any software like EVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner?
Have you played the Amazon game "New World" at all?

No Changes at all as i don't no how to use evga or msi afterburner. No not played New world. Mainly Destiny 2.
I have gone into safe mode and used DDU Uninstalled all drivers and reinstalled all drivers from Nvidia Site. Still having issues.
As state. I Can play 10min then blue screen appears.
I rang company up they did a CPU Stress Test and all that was fine. I swapped ram about from 32GB down to 8GB thinking it was ram. But no issues with ram.
So That leaves it to GPU or the power supply.
So going have to use my cousins 1050ti for abit now till i get mine replaced.

I am hoping the GPU is under warranty still.. As not sure how much warranty you get with Zotac.

windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline
repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.
Does anyone know what it means.

Can you answer the previous questions?
All that means is SFC found errors and repaired them.

Sorry i thought i answered the question. No i not done anything with msi as don't know how to overclock etc. Not played new world. I only play destiny 2.
