Hi there, Could you have a look at this spec please, with the following in mind :
- My current monitor is Samsung C49RG9 @ 3840 x 1080
- My expected budget is around 4k. As i expect this to last 4 years (1k / year !!) - (my current system is a i7 8700!!)
- I use the PC mainly for photoshop work and MS flight sim, plus other open world games.
I chose the following spec because :
- 10Tb for photos and general storage (Keeping backup for external HDD)
- I7 as its a compromise for speed and single core use (for MS flight sim)
- 32Gb DDR5 - future proof as much as i can, while keeping 2 slots open for further expansion at a later date.
- Graphics card 3090 - as i cant get hold of a 3080, hmmm, so be it!
- be quiet case, Im needing 2 USB to the front of the case for external HDD plug in. Im not needing any colourful lights inside or outside the case.
- 2Tb for OS, plus MS flight sim (i know you can install main folder as another directory, but im happy with it being here)
- 2Tb for other games and programs.
- 850w power supply - possible expansion at a later date?
- No operating system - I will use current windows 11 account.
My concerns :
- Issues with air flow? Do i need extra fans for the case?
- i only have 1 item that would benefit from wifi (a headset) but i currently use a cable for this. Is it worth getting this within the motherboard ?
- CPU cooling? Will this be adequate?
- The more USBs the better! I currently use 5-6 in the rear of the case.
- I may add another HDD in a few years.
