That monitor is unsuitable for gaming: it is too small for 4K resolution, very high response time, and the 60Hz refresh rate is unacceptable for a modern gaming computer. It will bottleneck the whole system.

What is your budget for an appropriate monitor? We require an exact maximum budget, which you do not wish to exceed.

To be honest, I would prefer 2k resolution, 27inch, something like this:

At the moment the spec has a 240mm AIO cooler as the configurator says a 360mm will not fit with the rtx4080 in this case.

Which is strange as I’ve seen many people do it online.

I would also like to know, would you recommend air cooling alone to reduce failure points? Or does this spec mandate a water cooling setup?

If it's for gaming only, and MSFS is the key requirement, then the 9800X3D will beat the 7900X...but the smaller Fractal North does have issues fitting the larger AIOs if there's a big GPU and RGB RAM.

The XL version does not have this issue.

I would not run a 7900X or 9800X3D on any of the air coolers that PCSpecialist offer, and the lowest I'd go (if it fits) would be the H115i Capellix (2x140mm offers similar performance to the 3x120mm in the H150i).

Here's what I'd go for a top-tier 1440p gaming PC. We are little overbudget, however.

That monitor is an entry-level 1440p monitor, which I would not recommend for this level of PC.

This AOC would be a far better choice, in my opinion.

If you're running MSFS, it installs over 100Gb onto the user profile on the C drive, just be aware of that, I would personally recommend a 1Tb OS drive for MSFS

Cheaper, older-model AIO coolers did have pump/fan failures, but there's no 'water' in them...it's a non-conductive fluid and it comes as a sealed, closed-loop unit.

As long as you stay with a Corsair Capellix or higher AIO cooler, there's nothing to worry about.

It's brand new, but all the testing we've seen has been universally positive, and it is the new gaming king for now.

If you can afford it, go with a 1TB P44 Pro, as @SpyderTracks suggested, but the choice is yours.
