Check my build

At this price point, the best you can do really is to buy something that will serve for now and can be easily upgraded in the future. Any system that can be specced on these grounds is going to be compromised in terms of current performance, but it's better to spend money on getting the fundamentals right.

The big problem with this build is the 1050 Ti graphics card, which is the best you can afford. (The fact that it's £188 is absurd, but there's nothing that can be done about that in 2021, sadly!) But this has a better case, a better power supply, and a better overall architecture because it's AMD rather than Intel, which right now is 100% the correct choice.

CPU, graphics card, storage, cooling and, if necessary, RAM can all be fairly easily upgraded after purchase. Now, I personally wouldn't choose to buy a system on these grounds (and 720p 75Hz gaming is a definite "ouch"), but ultimately it's your money! It will, in any case, be a much better choice than your original.

If I was to spend a little extra on a graphics card for this particular build, which would you recommend?

I just wanted an opinion about one specific part of the build; the GPU.

I just wanted to know what the general opinion is when comparing an Nvidia RTX 2060 with an Nvidia RTX 2060 Super? Is the super version really worth it? The price difference between the two is rougly £100 but I wasn't sure if the performance difference was worth that much?

There's literally no point in upgrading the GPU because at the moment, your monitor will bottleneck any performance at all, so you wouldn't see any benefit anyway, hence pointless.

As I previously said, I am intending on getting a new monitor. I'm ensuring I have the GPU ready now so I am ready for the benefits after when I order the monitor very soon.

However I was just enquiring about a general opinion on the cards to get a general perspective on them currently.

So we need to know what monitor you're getting to be able to advise properly. If you don't know, then what's your budget for the monitor?

The GPU needs to match the monitor.

Has your budget changed? If so what is it?

Actually no it's fine i've found an answer I was looking for, thanks tho!

In terms of monitors I was able to find some good monitors which were recommended for the NVidia RTX 2060 specifically anyway, I decided to go with a 1080p 144hz one so I can ensure I still get a consistent FPS with any high-end games that I may play! For example, the ViewSonic XG2402 one looks good in that regard!
