I am primarily looking to use it for gaming on however I also wanna use it to do some pretty minor editing with after effects/prem pro (hence the ryzen 6 core as opposed to intel) I am trying to keep to a budget of under £1000 and this costs £949 so to me it seems pretty good what do you all think

I wanna make sure that I have enough ram for editing with maybe some other applications open and I think 16 Gb will suffice also I'm a little worried about the motherboard because that's the only aspect of this pc which I don't know very well so if anyone is confident in their motherboards could I get some advice with that

It's a decent system but to keep it under £1k and to have it fully functional and bomb proof you would need to drop the GPU to the 1660S. For a meaningful build the 2060 is just a stretch too far IMO.

When copying in the spec could you keep the URL at the bottom in the spec? This allows us to click the link and go in and make minor changes without having to start from scratch....

Better Case - Focus G or 275 Airflow would be my choices on a budget
RAM - 3200 minimum, I would probably aim for 3600 now though as it's not much more expensive.
GPU - 1660S to make allowance for changes
Storage - 128GB of SSD is not enough, you want a 512GB M2 SX6000 drive in there. See the M2 drop down. I would also opt for either 2TB storage or dropping it altogether and fitting at a later date when funds allow
PSU - 550W TXm would be my recommendation. Superior PSU, more powerful, quieter and is semi-modular to benefit OCD & airflow
Cooler - If it's going to be used intensively you want a Coolermaster 240mm AIO on there
Warranty - As suggested, silver would be the most obvious choice.

That motherboard should be fine for your usage..I have the same motherboard and have no issues.

16GB RAM should be enough as well for minor editing....I would suggest increasing it to the 3200Mhz as AMD chips love higher frequencies and, as it is only £2 more, is definitely worth it.

Also up the Warranty to SIlver as it is only £5 more for much better cover.

Case-wise, I would spend the extra £12 and go with the Fractal Focus G....much better case for cooling and performs well above it's price (I love my Focus G case)

What monitor will you be pairing this with? If it is only a 1080p monitor, then you could drop the GPU down a level as the 2060 is, I believe, aimed at 1440 gaming. Let us know and we can advise accordingly

Wireless/Wired networking is just whether you are going to be connecting to your network with a cable (wired) or via Wifi (Wireless).

We just stuck with whatever option you chose initially. If you need Wifi then I would add the AX200 card. Don't go with the standard offering.

You had selected the Nvidia 2060 GPU, this is aimed at extreme 1080p or moderate 1440p. It's far too high end and expensive for your uses.
The Nvidia 1660S is a high end GPU for 1080P that is good for 100+FPS at high settings and is much more fitting with your budget and uses.

There is no point in wasting money on a GPU as it's the first part of the system that you will likely upgrade. Saving £200 that can be put towards a GPU in a years time would effectively double in performance value.

Correct, if you are plugging it in "hard wired" via Ethernet, you are good to go.

If you turn down the eye candy then yes, the 1660S will definitely manage that. Everything is possible for a price but with a hard limit, the GPU & settings are the first thing that should drop over the base system.

The GPU is a doddle to swap out. Can be done in 30 seconds. Usually 1 or 2 power plugs, often 1 screw and then a thumb/catch release then pull.... reverse and job done.

At the moment you have selected effectively "none". This means that you are connecting via ethernet on the motherboard.

If you select something other than the 100/1000 option, you are into Wireless cards. The one to get is the AX200 at £18 (taking you over budget).

If you have this, you will then have the option to connect via hardwire on the ethernet port on the motherboard... OR... via wireless using the AX200. It gives you the flexibility.

It's an addition rather than an Either/Or scenario.
